Dumont to set up its ice cream unit in Hyderabad
Dumont, which manufactures frozen desserts, in its factory in
Vijayawada - Andhra Pradesh, was planning to set up its another manufacturing facility in Hyderabad of Telangana with an estimated capital of Rs 15 crores within the next year Managing Director Vivek Inampudi said.
Addressing after launching its ice cream production in premium category nationally here, he claimed Dumont has spent over Rs three crore on research and development to invent unique and rare flavours in ice creams and currently have 34 different flavours that available in our outlets.
The Vijayawada plant, which producing 1,900 litres ice-cream per hour would cater to Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu while the proposed 3,000 litres ice-cream an hour capacity plant in Hyderabad would cater to Telangana, Karnataka and also some of parts of Mumbai (Maharashtra) , Mr Inampudi informed.
